કોઈની સૂની ડાળ પર બોલે,
મોરલા મીઠા સાદે,
ધીરા પગલે સુણવા જઈએ,
મનના કોડ કંઈ જાગે;
કોઈના સૂના બાગમાં મહેંકે,
ફૂલની ફોરમ પમરે,
હળવે હળવે માણવા જઈએ,
હૈયે વસંત મહોરે.
કોઈના ઘેરા નેણમાં ઉગ્યાં,
ભીના ભીના શમણાં,
મેઘ-ધનુષી તુણવા જઈએ,
પ્રેમ પટોળા નમણાં;
મારા ખાલી ઘરમાં ગુંજે,
કાલની ભીડના સુરો,
ખાટાં-મીઠાં ખોલી લઈએ,
સ્મ્રુતિના સૌ પડળો.
