ઘડીભર હું સંતાઈ ગઈ છુ,
અચાનક ક્યાંક ખોવાઈ ગઈ છું;
સમયના સન્નાટે અટવાઈ ગઈ છું,
મારા જ ઘરમાં જાણે ભૂલી પડી છું….
અજનબીની આંખમાં ઢંકાઈ ગઈ છું,
બેકદર નજરે નજરાઈ ગઈ છું;
ઝડપી ચક્ડોળે ક્ષણિક અટકી ગઈ છું,
શ્રધ્ધાની વાટ છતાં સંકોરી રહી છું….
સંજોગના આસને જડાઇ ગઈ છું,
સુષુપ્ત શક્તિને ઢંઢોળી રહી છું;
કોણ જાણે હું શું કરી રહી છું ?
હાલ તો શબ્દોને પાલવડે વીંટળાઈ રહી છું…

ઘડીભર હું સંતાઈ ગઈ છુ,

તમે લખેલી વાત પરથી એક ગઝલનો ઉપાડ સુઝ્યો છેઃ
અમે મૌન કરવતથી વ્હેરાઇ જાશું
પછી શેર થઇને કહેવાઇ જાશું
પછી શોધ જેવું ન બચશે કશું પણ
તને શોધવામાં જ ખોવાઇ જાશું
